Subject: Ancient and Modern Necromancy, alias Mesmerism and Hypnotism, Denounced

 Fight the good fight with all thy might,

 Christ is thy strength, and Christ thy right;

 Lay hold on Life, and it shall be

 Thy joy and crown eternally.

 Run the straight race through God's good grace,

 Lift up thine eyes, and seek His face;

 Life with its way before us lies,

 Christ is the path, and Christ the prize.

 Faint not nor fear, His arms are near;

 He changeth not, and thou art dear;

 On Him rely and thou shalt see

 That Christ is all in all to thee.

Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.  Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.  Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.  Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.  Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.  Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

Sing unto the Lord, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.  Declare his glory among the heathen: his marvellous works among all nations.  For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.  For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.  Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place. Give unto the Lord, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.  Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name:

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

Silent prayer, followed by the audible repetition of the Lord’s prayer, with its spiritual interpretation as given in the Christian Science textbook.

Our Father which art in heaven,

Our Father-Mother God, all-harmonious,

Hallowed be Thy name.

Adorable One.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy kingdom is come; Thou art ever-present.

Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Enable us to know – as in heaven, so on earth

God is omnipotent, supreme.

Give us this day our daily bread;

Give us grace for today; feed the famished affections;

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And Love is reflected in love;

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;

And God leadeth us not into temptation, but delivereth us from sin, disease, and death.

For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

For God is infinite, all-power, all Life, Truth, Love, over all, and All.

There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all. Spirit is immortal Truth; matter is mortal error. Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is the unreal and temporal. Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual.
